Williamsburg continues to attract investors and developers to this vibrant and fascinating Brooklyn's, NY neighborhood. Here are a few projects being planned, construction underway and completed.

Located at 159 Boerun Street, between Humboldt Street and Graham Avenue, The Welz, a 19 story residential building is complete. This 162 unit rental building will have studio, one and two bedroom layouts with 49 units reserved for affordable housing. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Slate Property Group with Avenue Realty and SD Builders and Construction LLC.

The Welz name pays homage to the former Welz, Zerweck High Ground Brewery in Bushwick,  Brooklyn, NY.

The Welz is a pet friendly building. The apartments have stainless steel energy efficient appliances, quartz countertops and matte black fixtures. Some select apartments will have a terrace. Amenities include a communal roof deck with outdoor grilling stations and 360 degree views of the New York City skyline, a fitness center, common area Wi Fi, bike storage, onsite parking and an on site resident manager.

The closest subway is the L train at the Montrose Avenue station.

Located at 427 Marcy Avenue, at the corner of Marcy Avenue and Walton Street, a 7 story, 79,000 square foot residential building is almost complete. There are 25 units in this building designed by Diego Aguilera Architects and developed by Abraham Brac and Ezra Unger.

The closest subway is the G train at the Flushing Avenue station, south of the building.

There will also be 340 square feet of commercial space and 10 enclosed parking spaces. The building is west of the Brooklyn, Queens Expressway, bound by North 6th Street and North 7th Street. The lot was purchased for $9.5M.

The closest subways to the building are the G train at Metropolitan Avenue Station and the L train at the Lorimer Street Station. More details to follow.
