Flatbush Brooklyn Residential Buildings Development

The Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn now is a hot residential location. It has finally caught the attention of Developers and Investors. Examples of area projects are:

A 78 unit, 8 story, 60,000 square foot residential building  planned for 2100 Bedford Avenue between Lenox Road and Caton Avenue. The project will have 39 parking spaces. The developer is Metropolitan Homes, which paid $4.6M for 3 houses to be demolished to make way for this project. The architect is Karl Fischer.

There is a 21 unit, 4 story, 15,103 square foot residential building planned for 157 Erasmus Street between Rogers and Nostrand Avenue. There will be parking for 11 cars. The average apartment will be 720 square feet in size.  The developer is Issac Stern.

Another project planned for Flatbush is 45 Lenox Road, between Flatbush Avenue and Bedford Avenue. The plan calls for 37 units, 5 stories and 26,807 square feet of residential rental housing. The project will not include parking, however there will be space for 26 bicycles in the basement or cellar. The developer is Ofer Prager and the architect is Stern Architects.
