Park Slope, Brooklyn NY is one of Brooklyn’s gems of a neighborhood is located in Northwest Brooklyn. Neighborhood boundaries are Prospect Park and Prospect Park West to the East, 4th Avenue to the West, Flatbush Avenue to the North and the Prospect Expressway to the South.

Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue are Park Slopes primary commercial streets.

Park Slope is known for the quality of its public schools, dining choices, nightlife choices, shopping, access to public transportation, green spaces and 100% walkability. Park Slope was named one of the “Greatest Neighborhoods in America” by the American Planning Association in 2007.

As you can well imagine, real estate values in Park Slope across all property types is at an all time high and the market for housing is extremely strong. Some examples of today’s prices of residential properties are:

Condominium apartment asking prices range from  $1.150M for an 1,196 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath to $1.799M for an 1,378 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath to $1.999M for an 1,858 square foot, 6 room, 2 bedroom, 3 bath to $2.275M for an 1,824 square foot 6 room, 4 bedroom, 2 bath to $3.499M for a, 2,279 square foot, 10 room, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit.

Park Slope has good public schools. Some of them are:

P.S. 39 Henry Bristow located at 417 6th Avenue, serving grades K, 1-5 + music and visual arts classes.

P.S. 133 William Butler located at 610 Baltic Street serving grades 1- 5, OK, PK and SE.

P.S. 372 The Children’s School located at 512 Carroll Street serving grades 1-8, OK and SE.

P.S. 38 located at 450 Pacific Street serving grades 1-5, PK, OK and SE.

P.S. 118 The Maurice Sendak Community School located at 211 8th Street serving grades 1-4, OK and PK.

Brooklyn Free located at 298 6th Avenue is an independent cooperative preschool. Ages served are 2 years 8 months and up to 4 years 8 months.

Park slope is served by seven different subway stations. Trains on 5th and 7th Avenues are the 2, 3, B, Q, D, G, F, N and R trains.

Park Slope is known for its wide selection of wonderful restaurants from which to choose. Just a few of them are:
