Which wonderful Brooklyn NY neighborhood could I be describing? The answer is Kensington which even has a lovely name to it unlike Gravesend (great neighborhood, not such a great name in my opinion). One and two family fully detached houses with private parking and outdoor yard space range in size from approximately 2,500 to 3,500 square feet of living space and range in price from $1M to $1.5M. There are very few condominium apartments available in Kensington, however there is a robust selection of Co-op apartments available for sale. A fully renovated 460 square foot studio apartment is on the market for $225K, a one bedroom, one bath fixer upper of 750 to 800 square feet is being offered below $300K and a two bedroom one full bath beautifully renovated 900 square foot co op apartment is asking under $600K.
