The Packer Collegiate Institute, located at 170 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights is in contract to purchase the retail property located at 100 Clinton Street at the corner of Clinton Street and Remsen Street. The 12,000 square foot Clinton Street building will be home to Packer's Preschool and Kindergarten program beginning in the Fall of 2017.

Head of the school Dr. Bruce L. Dennis commented " this purchase will further enhance the outstanding education that Packer offers, not only for our youngest learners who will enjoy new state of the art facilities at the Clinton Street location, but also for our entire student body who will reap the benefits of the many exciting educational opportunities that will be made available by a completely renovated Garden House and kindergarten suite."

The building will be designed by Hudson Studio Architects and Packer's expert early childhood educators will have be integrally involved in the design process.

The Packer Collegiate Institute was founded in 1845 and is the oldest independent school in Brooklyn. Packer enrolls over 1,000 students from Preschool through Grade 12.
