Brooklyn’s Priciest Residential Properties and Neighborhoods

In the last few years the most expensive Real Estate in Brooklyn, NY has been located in The Columbia Waterfront District, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Dumbo and Williamsburg. Following closely behind these pricey neighborhoods are Park Slope, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bay Ridge and Stuyvesant Heights.

Some examples of the most expensive homes on the market today in Brooklyn are:

88 Remsen Street, between Henry and Hicks Streets is located in Brooklyn Heights. This 19th Century townhouse with a rear carriage house is priced at $18M.

One Brooklyn Bridge Park #1216 is located at 360 Furman Street in Brooklyn Heights. This 8,500 square foot penthouse apartment is priced at $15M.

81 Pierrepont Street is between Hicks and Henry Streets and is located in Brooklyn Heights. This 6,000 square foot, gut renovated 19th Century townhouse is priced at $14.5M.

17 Prospect Park West, between Carroll Street and President Street is located in Park Slope is an 1899 limestone townhouse priced at $12.9M.

8121 Shore Road between 81st Street and 82nd Street is located in Bay Ridge. This 10,000+ square foot home is on a ½ acre lot is and priced at $11.2M.

181 President Street, is located between Henry and Clinton Streets in Carroll Gardens. This beautifully renovated townhouse with a 2 car garage is priced at $9.95M.

280 Washington Avenue, between Willoughby Avenue and DeKalb Avenue is located in Clinton Hill. The Pfizer Mansion is 10,000 square foot, 25 foot wide Brownstone townhouse in magnificent condition and is priced at $9.95M.

104 Prospect Park West, between 5th and 6th Streets is located in Park Slope. This 6,200 square foot, gut renovated limestone townhouse is priced at $8M.

108 Eighth Avenue, between President Street and Carroll Street is located in Park Slope. This approximately 8,000 square foot townhouse with Tiffany light fixtures and a mahogany staircase is priced at $7.5M.

82 Amity Street, between Hicks and Henry Streets is located in Cobble Hill. This meticulously renovated, 4,200 square foot Neo Grec brick townhouse is priced at $6.495M.

According to The Real Deal NYC Real Estate publication, last week was a great week for pricey Brooklyn residential Real Estate with 14 contracts signed for $2M or more, split between 8 houses and 6 condominiums.

The priciest deal was a 5,000 square foot townhouse located at 106 Prospect Place, between 6th Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. Contract price approximately $7M.

The 2nd most pricey deal was a 2,870 square foot, 6 bedroom Park Slope townhouse located at 488 13th Street, between Prospect Park West and 8th Avenue. Contract price approximately $4M.

Other notable Brooklyn deals to contract last week were both in Williamsburg. A townhouse located at 62 Grand Street, between Kent Ave and Wythe Ave went into contract for $3.7M and a condominium located at 56 South 3rd Street, between Kent and Wythe Avenues, that went into contract for $3.45M.

According to Real Estate Data company Property Shark, Cobble Hill has risen to the top spot of priciest Brooklyn neighborhoods with $1.6M being the median sales price for residential real estate.

Dumbo and Boerum Hill the 1st and 2nd most expensive Brooklyn neighborhoods for 2 years straight, have lost their top spot for 2019.
