Attention Brooklyn Real Estate Companies and Real estate Agents. Be on the look out next Spring, when Owner Matt Perricone and his partners open the Brooklyn Bar Barge. The Barge located next to Transmitter Park. The barge was built on the Delaware River in 1942 by The Pennsylvania Railroad for the purpose of offloading cargo. The barge is accessed by crossing a 35 foot drawbridge that Perricone and a friend built in Kingston New York.

Perricone also rents a strip of land that extends 180 long x35 feet wide along the shoreline with waterfront access. There will be a restaurant located at 3 Milton Street, on the side of the barge.

The Views of the Manhattan skyline from this location are spectacular and include The Empire State Building, The Chrysler Building, The United Nations and 1 World Trade Center.

From October 31st until May 1st the Bar/Restaurant will be closed for the Winter months. By November 15th, the barge will head up the Hudson River to spend the winter in Kingston New York.

When the BBB opens next Spring there will also be Kayaking and sailing lessons, stand up paddle boarding tours of the East River and fishing clinics. There will also be a spot where historic vessels and ships with educational programs will stop by. The activities offered will be both paid and free activities.

Mr. Perricone and his business partner Tom Morgan have taken many precautions to ensure the safety of all who visit the Brooklyn Bar Barge in Greenpoint.

We can’t wait until next Spring!
