Brooklyn Waterfront Neighborhood and Parks

Real Estate Brokers Brooklyn have many wonderful neighborhoods that they service that have waterfront access. The lifestyle of these neighborhoods are unique. For example, Sheepshead Bay, which has Fishing and party boats docking at the piers on Emmons Avenue, along the canal, restaurants just across from the canal, miles of beaches and Kingsborough College across the canal at the tip of Manhattan Beach.

Some other Brooklyn waterfront neighborhoods are Dumbo, Red Hook, Brooklyn Heights, Bay Ridge, Sea Gate, The Brooklyn Navy Yard, Vinegar Hill, Williamsburg and Sunset Park.

Very few Brooklyn neighborhoods that have waterfront access, have a waterfront public park for residents and visitors to enjoy such as Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill and extends to the Dumbo waterfront.

Located on the edge of Sunset Park, is a 23 acre waterfront park, Bush Terminal Piers Park. Some have described their visit to the park as zen. I can’t wait to visit! The entrance to the park is on First Avenue and 43rd Street.

What you will see when in Bush Terminal Piers Park are wonderful views of The Bay Ridge Chanel, The World Trade Center, Lower Manhattan Skyline, Soccer and Baseball Fields, Tidal Pools, a pier and a nature preserve.

The park was once a toxic dump site that cost more than 10 years and $40M to clean up. City, State and Federal funds covered the cost.

Bush Terminal Pier Park will be open from 8am to 8pm from May 2nd to September 30th.

If you are planning to sell your Brooklyn, Manhattan or Queens  property, whether it is a residential property, a commercial building, mixed use, multi family, vacant land, coop or condominium or a development opportunity, call us. You will be very happy that you did.

Thank you.
