Brooklyn NY Real Estate Brokerage, Part 2

On February 6th of this year, we blogged about Brooklyn New York Real Estate Brokering Pre Covid 19 – do's and don'ts.

Since February 6th, the business of doing the real estate brokerage business has changed, yet it has remained the same in many ways. In this especially challenging time for our industry due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the biggest asset we have is our attitude.

As New Yorkers, we have already proven that we can do what was and is necessary to flatten the curve of this vicious virus and keep it down. New York has proven to the rest of the United States and to the world that we are a smart, focused, tough, resilient and caring city.

Although it's cliché to say attitude is everything, the fact is that 100% of how we approach our personal life and our business life has to do with our attitude. Our attitude makes the difference between floundering or succeeding in everything we do.

We, at Accord Real Estate Group, and many other seasoned Brooklyn real estate Brokers and agents have experienced societal tragedy and serious real estate market disruptions and downturns through the years such as the economic downturn of 2007. The September 11th terrorist attacks and Superstorm Sandy. Nothing we have ever been through before or likely will ever experience will compare to the devastation of the Coronavirus pandemic of 2020.

The question is, as real estate professionals how do we navigate through this challenging business environment? Number 1, 2 and 3, like location, location, location, is consistently maintaining a focused and positive attitude! Have an aggressive agenda, get organized, make a plan and execute that plan to the best of your ability.  Number 2 is using high touch technique, such as having conversations with your already established connections or relationships and leads that you have built through your sphere of influence and your database of contacts to strengthen your position as top of mind when your contacts or perspective clients or customers need of real estate brokerage services. Number 3 is using your arsenal of technology, i.e. company website, email campaign, social media campaign to strengthen your brand and your company message.

Remember, be positive, keep it positive and keep your business moving forward.

To be continued...
