This best and latest in Contemporary furnishings, lighting and home design event should bring out thousands of design enthusiasts as well as Brooklyn’s best brokers and top agents.

Carlo A. Scissura, President of The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce says “ we have an entire weekend full of events and workshops that blend design, architecture, technology and fun in a way that is Brooklyn through and through.”

Sawyer De Vuyst of SAW Handmade furniture says “I think Brooklyn Designs is known for being a curated show where only the best furniture makers from Brooklyn are here.” De Vuyst continued to say “ If you are in this field, this is the type show that you want to do”.

A 2nd Brooklyn Designs event was organized by The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and was held last May 8th through the 10th at the Brooklyn Expo Center in Greenpoint.

This was the 1st year the showcase had taken place outside of Dumbo. This event introduced a new section at the show, The Brooklyn buys marketplace where people could purchase accessories made or designed in Brooklyn. Nearly 70 different companies had merchandise on display during Brooklyn Designs.

Eric Adams, Brooklyn Borough President said “more than a tree is growing in Brooklyn, there are great designs here too.”
