Williamsburg Development Update

The incredible transformation of Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood just keeps rolling on with new development projects.

For Brooklyn real estate companies and Brooklyn real estate agents with their eyes on Williamsburg, here is an update.

Just a few examples of some of the newest projects are;

Located at 170 Marcy Avenue, between Broadway and South 5th Street, Developer Juan Ortiz is putting up a 5 story 4,314 square foot mixed use building with apartments on the 2nd thru the 5th floors and a 1,495 square foot retail store on the 1st floor. The architect is Greg Korn.

Douglaston Development has a 40 story, 554 unit residential tower going up at 2 North 6th Place on the waterfront. The apartments will be approximately 925 square feet in size and there will be a retail space on the 1st floor. The architect is Stephen B. Jacobs Group.

Developers Eli Hamway and Michael Shamah of Eastern Capital Group are moving forward with a condo building located at 138 North 10th Street between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue. The 15,045 square foot building will offer duplex and triplex units with a total of 9 units being built. There will be a gym and a garage on the 1st floor. The architect is Morris Adjmi, who describes the design of the building as “industrial but modern and refined”.
