Had a rough week? Looking to pamper yourself, explore an amazing Brooklyn Neighborhood, be entertained by world class, cutting edge artists, dine on scrumptious and healthy food? Well according to Jeff Grandis Broker Co- Owner of Accord Real Estate Group, a licensed Real Estate Broker, Boerum Hill fits the bill just fine.

Boerum Hill is easy to get to via the subway, with the F and G trains stopping at Carroll Street and Smith Street. What you can expect  when you arrive is a treat for all of your senses. Smith Street, an incredible main street in this neighborhood, is lined with some of Brooklyn's finest restaurants such as Wild Ginger located at 112 Smith Street. Wild Ginger serves a wonderful Pan Asian cuisine. The ambiance is soothing and lovely. Take a table in the rear for more privacy. You may want to try the seaweed salad, ginger pumpkin soup and for the main course the Malaysian Curry Stew is out of this world! The deserts are equally as delicious. You should try the peanut mouse chocolate cake.

Take a stroll up and down the neighborhood to marvel at gorgeous tree lined blocks with magnificent Brownstone homes, clothing stores, cafe's , bakeries, bars, Italian Markets etc... You may decide that after your long stress filled work week that a spa treatment or two would help you to feel yourself again. Tops on your list should be The Smith Street Spa, located at 119 Smith Street, near Dean Street. The owner's name is Margo and she gives the finest, most luxurious facials that you can find anywhere, at a reasonable price. The atmosphere in the spa is very private, zen like (the sounds of birds chirping and water flowing ) and extremely soothing and relaxing. Full body massages are also very reasonably priced and expertly done by Anna on weekends.

If it's entertainment that you are yearning for then look no further than BAM, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where any given weekend you can experience world class avante garde entertainment that many Manhattanites come into Brooklyn to experience. Whether it be a dance recital, play, poetry reading, a film festival, concert, opera or just hanging out in the Bam Cafe' the excitement and energy of this magnificent venue will surely please you.
