Attention to all real estate companies in Brooklyn and real estate agents in Brooklyn who love Junior’s cheesecake!

Famed Junior’s restaurant located on the corner of Flatbush Avenue Extension and Dekalb Avenue since 1950 will not be sold. Owner Alan Rosen, 3rd generation owner was offered $45M to sell and ultimately after much soul searching he decided not to sell. Says Rosen “I feel great”. “I feel relieved”.

Rosen’s customers and his employees are so very happy about his decision. Says D.J. Grady about Rosen’s decision not to sell,” it’s a beautiful thing”. “I’m in my 60’s and I’ve been coming here since I was in my early 20’s”.

Community Board 2 district manager Robert Perris says that “Junior’s is an iconic restaurant but it’s also a family restaurant”.

Community Board 2 respects Rosen’s decision. The board also said that whatever the future of the site, the community board hopes that there will always be a Junior’s at the corner of Flatbush and Dekalb Avenues.
