Church of St. Luke and St. Matthew

 

 

The landmarked Saint Lukes Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 259 Washington Avenue and the parish house located at 230 Hall Street are undergoing a residential condominium conversion. Neo Gothic in Style, this rock faced limestone structure was built in 1894 and designed by JW Walter architect. The parish house was built in 1924. Brookland Developers purchased the properties in 2015 for $8M. The project consists of 32,000 buildable square feet.
