Greenpoint is the northernmost point in Brooklyn, NY. Greenpoint is bordered to the southwest by Williamsburg, on the southeast by The Brooklyn Queens Expressway and East Williamsburg, on the north by Newtown Creek and Long Island City Queens at The Pulaski Bridge and on the west by the East River.

Greenpoint has a large Polish-American community with many Polish restaurants, markets and businesses.

The Real Estate market in Greenpoint has seen single and multifamily residential values rise dramatically and an abundance of luxury condominium apartments in all price ranges come onto the market.

Examples of the price range of properties in Greenpoint today are:

For a beautifully renovated, single family townhouse with 3,000 square feet, 8 rooms, 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, asking price $3M.

A 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 915 square foot unit in The Oakland is asking $1.170M.

A 7 room, 2 bedroom, 3 bath, 1,450 square foot unit is asking $1.3M.

A 4 room, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,413 square foot unit in a beautiful boutique condo building is asking $1.595M.

A 6 room, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1,542 square foot unit is asking $2.750M.

A rare, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2,690 square foot unit with an additional 1,500 of outdoor space is asking $2.995M.

Public transportation into Manhattan consists of the G train at Greenpoint Avenue and at Nassau Street, the Ferry at India Street and the Ferry at North 5th Street.

Spritzenhaus 33 located at 33 Nassau Avenue for Beer and Sausage just steps away from McCarren Park.

Keg & Lantern Brewing Company located at 97 Nassau Avenue for a great sports bar, great beer, good menu and lots of TVs.

Capri Social Club located at 156 Calyer Street for a time warp atmosphere, great spot for beer and a shot.

Achilles Heel located at 180 West Street for a cozy tavern hangout.

Lake Street Bar located at 706 Manahattan Avenue a great neighborhood bar.

The Moonlight Mile located at 200 Franklin Street for 20 types of whiskey in a cool place.
